Really accommodating this weekend for a large party with lots of children. Breakfasts all round were lovely as usual. One rude staff member with a terrible attitude when i asked the basics like glasses for drinks (?)but everyone else lovely . I recommend .
I think bland is a more fitting name. Perhaps all the good reviews have gone to their head! My experience here wasn't so great. Food took forever to arrive and when it did, my bread was missing so I had to wait for that and then my food got cold. The food itself was pretty average. I can do a better job at home and next time I will. Not worth the trip.
Had an average breakfast after too long waiting (Almost 30 min wait) and one item from our order was missing. The avo on toast was quite bland and the vegan sausages were amongst the more disappointing I've tried. On the plus side the staff was very friendly and the portion size was good.
Overall a very lovely cafe with nice staff. Unfortunately their pop up Columbian Street kitchen turned out to be a disappointment. Not only we waited for over an hour for our food(very simple dishes) . When it arrived it was rather blunt and it gave my girlfriend a stomach ache.
Nevertheless I do appreciate the effort of introducing new cuisines in the area.
Excellent strong coffee, home made cakes and brunches with a twist. This includes a delicious Mexican style Chilli with mince and beef topped with eggs and sour cream. It's very refreshing to have independant places like on our high street, with a different look from the usual big chain coffee places. With its 1960's or 70's Danish furniture, Blendhas a stylish and unique look to it. And the staff are very nice and friendly too.
